Support pet veterinary care at Strut Your Mutt, a fun beach festival and leisurely walk for our community of dog-lovers and their pooches.
Festivities begin at 9 am. The kids will love the crafts, bounce house, facepainting and more. Strike up a friendly competition with new friends over beach cornhole. Test your dog's talents in the beach agility course. Stop by the Wellness Zone to purchase dog DNA tests, pet first-aid kits, customizable tags and more. Take a spin through the shopping zone for merchandise to please any dog-lover. Smile for the camera in the ever popular photo booth (Dogs welcome!). Bop to the live music of the Serfs thoughout the morning. Chill with Blake & Eva of the Coast 93.1 Morning Show who will be broadcasting live all morning.
At 11 am, the walk kicks off. Enjoy the scenic and leisurely two-mile stroll with your pooch and fellow dog-lovers.
Strut Your Mutt is the Animal Welfare Society's largest fundraising event of the year. Due to the generosity of our underwriting sponsor, Kennebunk Savings, all registration fees, sponsorships and pledge money* raised from the walk directly benefit the VETERINARY CARE for pets in need. From minor wound care to major surgery, the funds raised at Strut support the health and wellbeing of thousands of homeless and community pets that visit the AWS Community Veterinary Clinic every year.
*For every $50 you raise in pledge money, you will receive a ticket to enter a drawing to win one of four fantastic prize packages. Raise $250? Receive 5 tickets! Tickets will be distributed at the check-in table when you arrive. Prizes will be drawn just before the walk starts at 11 am. You must be present to win.
